This Photoshop effort managed to fool a few people. I took a photo
of Simon Davies testing the wind for a paragliding flight (see:- Colley
Hill Paragliding). I then sized/distorted/added the wings
from a butterfly.
The shadow on the grass was acheived by building up the existing areas
of shadow using the lassoo tool to select, copy and paste, flattening
the image at each stage. When there was a sufficient shadow area, the
shadow could be "drawn" with the lassoo tool, then moved over
the area to be copied. When pasted back the shadow section was moved
into place. |
