AMBIENT SERENDIPITY

28 November 2004

This idea for this second abstract "flood painting" was conceived of for Art Critic Sarah Kent on 28 November 2004. Sarah Kent said many nice things about the Saddams Teeth clip on Radio 4, 31 October 2004.

It was shown to artist David Johnstone of Reigate Castlegrounds Studio. He suggested a £200 price tag. He agreed that wasn`t bad for a couple of hours of fun!

TheSarah Kent flood painting was never taken up to Time Out. Iit was sold! [albeit too cheaply] to raise £75 pounds for the Red Cross Inn Tsunami Appeal on January 16 2005!

St Mary`s Serendipity 25 December 2004

This party piece was created after Christmas dinner for Mary Domoney.

An idea employed for this work is that of, striking the edges of the canvass onto the floor, to make the paint wash race across it!

Less than 12 hours later; the Tsunami occurred!

Above is the first of the UV flood paintings. It was created to raise money for the Red Cross Inn Tsunami appeal on January 16 2005. The painting was sold for £120 within a few hours!
