7 September 2008

The new season started successfully for the 1st XV with an away win at Aberaeron by 16 points ro 8.  The team’s points came from a try by Craig Bennett and a try, one conversion and a penalty from Mark Riley.  The 2nd XV home fixture was called off by the opponents Fishguard.

1 September 2008

The New Season starts this Saturday with a new Captain for the first. XV, Mark Chamberlain, and Coach, Mark Hamer.

 

The dates of the 1st XV league home fixture versus Llangwm and the Pembs. K.O. Cuo home game versus Haverfordwest have yet to be arranged and also note that the SWALEC National Cup has been divided into Cup, Plate and Bowl competitions(see link on 1st XV Fixture List page)

14 September 2008

The 1st XV, minus a few key players, lost their first home game against Cefneithin by 24 points to 13.  The Club’s points came from two tries by Stephen Roberts and a penalty  frpm Paul Murray.

21 September 2008

It was a poor Saturday for the senior Club sides against our local rivals Milford Haven,  the Ist XV lost away in the last few minutes 16 points to14 whilst the 2nd XV lost at home 62-5.  The 1st XV scorers were a try by Paul Murray and three penalties by Mark Riley.

29 September 2008

The 1st XV lost their 1st round SWALEC Cup game against Bedlinog, a 2nd Division side, by 50 points to 7.  The Club’s scores came from Mark Hamer a try and a conversion by Mark Riley..

4 October 2008

The 1st. XV won their League encounter away to Pontyates by 25 points to 5 and also acquired a bonus point.  The Club’s points came from a try apiece by Mathew Williams, Martin Roberts, Adam Collins and Darren John with a conversion and a penalty from Mark Riley.
