"No photographs, you damn paparazzi!"
The King of Wales was lured into joining the band by close friend Grunt on the promise on seeing a couple of loonies. He was so impressed by seeing the loonies that he decided to stay on as bass player. The King of Wales has always been one of the most elusive members of the band, usually turning up at gigs a matter of seconds before, or after, the band are supposed to play. His many previous bands include Karanatatakarakata, the Hepburns and Queen (he denies this one but we've all seen the big guitar-shaped hole in his mantelpiece).
The King of Wales' songs include an arrangement of the Orb's Fluffy Clouds on which he played both bass and lead guitar (yes, at the same time) at the band's first Waterloo gig.
