Terms and Conditions

1) All images are © Copyright Giles Wadsworth (the photographer). Prints purchased are for the personal enjoyment of the owner and may not be reproduced or used for any commercial or profit-making purposes without the written permission of the photographer. A fee commensurate with the use for which the photograph is intended may be negotiated in these circumstances. Due to the fact the prints are limited edition only, any commercial use will preclude the sale or distribution of original ink-jet or photographic copies.

2) Wherever possible, prints will be despatched within 28 days of ordering. All images are printed to order - no stock is kept - and to enable each print to be hand-signed and numbered by the photographer he will need to personally undertake this operation. As he is an "active" photographer, there will be times of the year when he is away for periods up to one month and therefore deliveries may take longer at these times.

3) All prints are despatched from the United Kingdom by the Royal Mail postal service. Prints are packaged in durable cardboard tubes and packaging and delivery charges are UK £8.50 for Great Britain and UK £14.50 for the rest of the world. The Royal Mail advise that delivery is normally 5 to 7 working days outside Great Britain. Any non-UK local taxes and Customs Duties (where appropriate) as well as insurance are not included as part of the delivery fee and should be arranged by the purchaser. Delivery can be made by other methods at extra cost by agreement if required.

4) If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with the image on receipt, it can be returned at your expense and upon receipt of the print in original condition, a refund of your payment will be made.

5) The photographer guarantees that no more than 200 prints of each of the images offered will be sold throughout the world and all copies will be hand-signed and numbered. A record of each original purchaser will be kept by the photographer for verification purposes. Should you decide to re-sell an image, you may choose to advise the name of the new owner to the photographer. This information will not be used for any purpose other than the verification of owners of the images.

6) Like watercolour paintings, the images are not water-resistant. Similarly, although the images are printed on premium photographic quality inkjet paper, the images will fade in time and/or when exposed to sunlight or high humidity. The manufacturers of the paper and inks advise that the life expectancy of the image in normal display circumstances under glass would be of the order of 10 years before noticeable degradation.
