Technical Information - 2) scanned photos and digital images

Print reference numbers on this site beginning with the digit "1" are composited from
optically scanned photographic prints originally taken on a high-quality 35mm film SLR camera

Reference numbers beginning with the digit "2" are composited from images taken with a high-quality (5 megapixel) digital camera

All the final panoramas have been assembled in Adobe Photoshop from between 4 and 38 original images

Copies that are ordered are printed directly from the Photoshop (.psd) file, not from a compressed file such as .jpg or .gif

Each image's page on this web site describes:

The location and date of the photograph
The reference number for each image
The horizontal angle of view of the photograph (between 70 degrees and over 360 degrees)
The number of original pictures from which the final image was composited
The size (in megabits) of the Photoshop file
The resolution in dots per inch (dpi) of the Photoshop file
The size of the final printed image in millimeters
