It's only fair that I alert you to a company in Germany who is the first one in years to refuse to pay us what they owe us - well, not so much as refuse as just simply to ignore every e mail that we've thrown at them for the last year or so.
Basics are this - we supplied them with CD's on consignment for a long time and just asked them to pay for what they sold - OK, so they didn't always pay on time, but they did pay - no problem.
Anywy, we let them have around 25 copies each of the latest CD's on the label by Mooch and Secret Saucer, which they acknowledged they'd received. So, we gave them aeons to sell the CD's and finally got around to asking them for the payment due and to return any unsold CD's - now you can't say fairer than that!! They ignored us - we thought that the e mails might not have got through - even thought that they'd gone under, maybe. But then we found the website - still up and running - still finctioning. So, we e mailed them via the website - still not a word back. Kept on e mailing on and off until just recently when the e mail finger got exhausted. Still nothing back!!
So, really, all we can do is to warn anyone not to approach these people if you've got anything they want you to sell - you might just never hear back from them again!! Of course, if they do happen to come back to us with what they owe, then we'll let you know just as swiftly, that's for sure. Approach with caution - and a big stick!!
