Bromsgrove Station

Bromsgrove station comprises two platforms, one for northbound trains and one for southbound trains. The two platforms are linked by a footbridge over the railway.

The footbridge provides the only access to the southbound platform, meaning that there is no disabled access for passengers travelling south towards Worcester

The platforms are of different lengths. The northbound platform is the shorter of the two. The consequence of this is that 4-car trains travelling north towards Birmingham cannot stop at Bromsgrove. This meant that when the train that previously stopped at Bromsgrove at 7:43am was increased in length to 4 cars to help relieve overcrowding, it could no longer serve Bromsgrove.

There is no permanent ticket buying facility at Bromsgrove Station. During the morning rush hour there is usually a Central Trains employee selling tickets from the northbound platform.

The only other facilities that exist for passengers waiting for trains are a small shelter on each platform, a few secure bicycle units and a few bicycle racks.

There is limited parking available costing £2.50 per day.
