(1) Oil Pressure Alarm
(2) Oil Drain and Pump

(1) Oil Pressure Alarm. Below are two photos. The top shows the sensor and buzzer assembled on my desk prior to installation; the bottom was taken with the sensor installed on the engine.  I have not yet assembled the high water temperature alarm but aside from the size of the fittings (3/4" vs. 1/8" NPT) it will look quite similar.

The buzzer was located behind the A-4 instrument panel and was wired to the run position of the ignition switch.  The switch makes contact to negative ground when oil pressure is low.  The buzzer is fused with an inline fuse.

The water temperature alarm will use the same buzzer.

Parts used:
    1/8" NPT x 2" long brass nipple
    1/8" "T" fitting in brass
Normally closed 1/8" NPT low oil pressure switch
Pipe dope or Teflon tape for threads of fittings.
Wire, crimp connectors and heat shrink tubing.
    Nylon wire ties
    Inline fuse holder and fuse
12 VDC Piezo buzzer (Radio Shack)

I don't have a stock number for the oil switch as I hunted through the bins at the local automotive shop for it until I found the one I wanted.

(2) Oil Drain and Pump.  The concept here is that with the engine installed at an incline a hole like this allows you to remove all of the oil from the engine which is not easily done with any other drain in the engine.
