Our projects in Ukraine

 

1. Planned activities

• Methodological studies for the implementation of the Water Framework Directive (WFD) in Ukraine
• Use of hydrological and ecological models (like SWAT, ATtILA a.o.) for river basin management and land use planning with the focus on frequently flooded river valleys
• Support and updating of a web portal that was created by the Centre of Ecological Monitoring of Ukraine (CEMU)
• - Construction of a monitoring station for permanent registration of water temp., O2, pH, EC and global radiation (330-2000nm); probably the 1st in Ukraine(?) ; details see:  http://www.cemu.kiev.ua/en/projects/on-line-en.htm
