Size 20" (50 cm)
Range Southeastern United States and possibly Cuba.
Habitat Old growth, river-bottom forests.
Nesting
Status No definite observations for quite some time, although there have been several instances when call notes were possibly heard, and possible sighting and video taken in 2004 in Arkansas. Extremely rare, possibly extinct.
