Thomas William Douglas

  General Notes:

Thomas W. Douglas married and had three sons (John, Wilfred and Steward). He became a merchant in Owen Sound around 1881. He continued in business until he was about eighty-four when his store was taken over by his son Wilfred. At one time the elder Douglas had as many as eighteen employees so that his business must have been substantial.
