Joseph McDowall

   Cause of his death was lacrosse accident.

  General Notes:

Joseph McDowall was a law student at Osgoode Hall before suffering a fatal injury while playing lacrosse. He died on September 6, 1879.

Prior to attending law school, he was a teacher at the Ottawa Grammar School where his brother-in-law, J.J. Douglas, attended.
