Zena died Thursday June 28th 1928 at the residence of his daughter, Mrs. William Ball, 312-8th Street East in Owen Sound.

Zena married Maria Miller, daughter of George Miller and Amelia Grant Munro. (Maria Miller was born in 1846, died on 1917 Jul 9 in Owen Sound, Grey, Ontario, Canada and was buried in Greenwood Cemetery, Owen Sound, Grey, Ontario, Canada.)
