Freda Cooper

Freda's mother died when she was only two years old, and was brought up by her two aunts, Ella and Constance Hook. They had a large house in Brighton, Sussex in which they ran a small girls boarding school, and also owned some nearby houses probably using these as parts of the school. Freda was educated in the school along with the other girls.

Freda grew to be a strong woman and lived in the same house in Brighton until she had a heart attack in 1997 and was forced to move into a nursing home. She died a few days before her 103rd birthday.
