Bernard Evan Hook, a solicitor's clerk of Chiswick, drowned in the Thames river at Twickenham when his sailing boat was upset. He was 24. The boat was near Orleans House when it capsized in a sudden gust of wind. Mrs. Earnest Labrow, of Fulham also drowned. Two other occupants of the boat, Claud Labrow and Earnest Cleaver, succeeded in swimming ashore. 187
