Noteworthy:
2007: The resurrection of the Monarch Junior football program in 2006 brings home a LOSSA title as the Monarchs, held to a tie by the Pickering Trojans during the regular season, make amends by defeating the Trojans 28-6 in the championship final. The Junior Monarchs would advance through to the Junior Metro Bowl finals defeating Crestwood (Kawarthas) 44-7 and St. Michael's College 20-8. In the Bowl Championship, St. Mary's would fail in their attempt for their first Bowl Championship falling to Notre Dame (Halton) 34-7.
2003: The Senior Monarchs become the first team in LOSSA history to capture five consecutive titles. Led by All-Star Quarterback, Erik Glavic, the Monarchs defeat the Paul Dwyer Saints 27-18. This was the first LOSSA football final to be contested by two schools from the Durham Catholic District School Board. For the second consecutive year, the Monarchs failed to advance past round one in the Golden Horseshoe playoffs losing to Markham (York Region) 7-0.
2002: The Monarchs become the first school in the history of LOSSA football to win four consecutive titles as they down the Dunbarton Spartans 21-14 in the first ever final between the two Pickering White's Road schools. Advancing to the Golden Horseshoe Bowl semi-finals, the Monarchs were defeated by Lakeshore Catholic (Port Colbourne) 27-14 thereby being denied a second consecutive Golden Horseshoe Bowl final appearance.
2001: The Monarchs, complete the season with a perfect record, capturing their third consecutive title as they easily defeat the Henry Street Hawks by a score of 41-12. LOSSA competed in the Golden Horseshoe Bowl playoffs and St. Mary's were able to defeat Notre Dame (Welland) 27-23 and Waterdown (Hamilton Public) 28-14 before losing to St. Andrews (CISSA) 35-21 in the final.
2000: The Monarchs would once again meet the Pickering Trojans for the LOSSA Championship and they would repeat as the league champions with a 15-7 victory. The win for the Monarchs avenged the two regular season games between the two schools where the schools had tied and Pickering had won by one point.
1999: In their first year of league play as a Varisty football program, the St. Mary Monarchs would earn their first LOSSA football title as they defeat the Pickering Trojans 29-10.
