Noteworthy:

2006: After two consecutive winless seasons, the Senior Cougars stage a thrilling fourth quarter comeback to defeat and eliminate the Notre Dame team, who carries the same nickname, in the opening round of the "B" pool playoffs.  As one parent commented, it was the first win of any significance for Courtice in two decades.

2005: Following an absence of a program for a quarter of a century, football returns to Courtice.

2005: Football returns to Courtice for the first time in three decades.

1973: Despite technically being the defending Junior Champions, Courtice does not field a junior team.

1972: With a teacher's work issue in Durham, the Courtice Junior team are declared league champions by default as they are the only school in the loop with a recognized team.
