Pathway Passport for recording and planning...
The Pathways passport is designed to give students the opportunity to explore and plan out career possibilities. Technological education is an ongoing process throughout life providing many options to all levels of students. Courses in technology provide students with four pathways after high school: Workplace, Apprenticeship, College & University. Technological education offers a wide range of courses that build student confidence and provide valuable employablility skills to post-secondary destinations. For example, a workplace student could discover after a period of time that he/she is ready to try an apprenticeship or college level program. Upon completing one of those levels one could study towards a degree. There has recently been an increasing number of applied degree courses offered in technology.

Technology is the future!

Senior technological courses will prepare students with a hands-on experience providing skills and knowledge necessary for a bright and interesting future. Combined with a Co-op exposure, students will have the involvement and understanding to make an informed decision on their abilities to be successful. This gives students confidence when entering the workplace and gives them an advantage over other candidates. Students are invited to discover the many possibilities and benefits offered in technology.

Student’s Responsibility
Students need to be aware of their responsibility in keeping records of their participation, leadership, community hours and other accomplishments during their four years of high school. These records will be a great advantage to students when applying for the many different awards available in their graduating year (example “Garneau Gold”). This passport is one way technology students can set a course and track their accomplishments. Keeping personal records is important throughout one's life and this is a great way to start the process of keeping your own records.
