TOOK HIS OWN LIFE
   A sad occurrence took place in Dereham on Wednesday morning
last a liitle before 8 o'clock, when Arthur A. Brown committed suicide by shooting
himself through the right temple with a small revolver.
   The unfortunate man had gone to he stable before breakfast to feed
the stock, as was customary and not making any respnse when Mrs. Brown called him
shortly afterwards, he was sought for and the rash act discovered.
   A physician was immediately summoned but nothing could be done
and death ensued about two hours later.
   A few months ago deceased sustained injury from a fall since
which time he has not been in robust health and it is supposed that this caused
a despondency which he cound not shake off and resulted in a temporary derangement.
   A widow and two sons sruvive, to whom the heartfelt sympathy of the
community will be extended.
   The funeral takes place tomorrow afternoon at 1:30 to the Delmer
cemetery.
