Date of Death:  Tuesday, March 28, 1899
Deceased was one of the most lovely, true, consistent christian characters possible to conceive, and daily lived up to her profession in word and deed.  Those who knew her best concede that she came as near the mark of christian perfection as human nature will permit, and her reward will be great.
Mrs. Plowman was first married to the late Luke Kent when 18 years of age, and in 1824 they moved on the old homestead near Dunboyne, where they lived happily together until Mr. Kent's decease on Oct. 4, 1840.  Several years later she married Benjamin Plowman, who also pre-deceased her 14 years ago.  She moved to Aylmer and remained a worthy citizen until her death.
She leaves by her first husband one son and three daughters, John and Martha at home, and Mrs. Sweetapple and Mrs. Brown, of Florida.  By her second husband she leaves one daughter, Mrs. Chas. Kent, whose home is near Simcoe.
