On Thursday last, Feb. 23rd, Aylmer lost one of its old and most highly esteemed citizens,
in the person of Mrs. Sarah A. Brown, who has been a resident of Aylmer for about forty
years.  Mrs. Brown was 74 years old, and her life has always been that of an
exemplary Christian lady.  She was a friend to everyone and everyone was her
friend, and she will be remembered in many ways.  Her daughter, Mrs. (Dr.) Clark,
of Winnipeg, was with her all through her recent illness.  The funeral took place
on Saturday, and was attended by a very large number of her old friends, many of whom
followed her to her last resting place in the Aylmer cemetery.
