SUE NEWELL of Sydney, met American GI Frank Humphreys (on R&R leave from the Vietnam war) in the Menzies Hotel lounge in May 1968. She was about 20, with long, curly black hair and he fondly remembers slow-dancing to Love is Blue. He'd now like to thank her for being there when he needed her.
