Where are they now?

Freda and Robert Hugall (pictured on their wedding day) were married for just six months when the RAAF navigator was killed in a raid over Germany during WWII. Fifty-eight years later, Freda, now Mrs LeBlanc, of Queensland, wrote to The Weekly in. a bid to find Robert's family so she could give them. his service medals. "Amazingly his brother lived not far away," she told us. "And we had a wonderful reunion."

Last Australia Day, Robert's family presented the medals to the RSL in Margaret River, his home town in Western Australia. "It meant so much to us all. Thank you!"
