Notes:

In front of a good-sized crowd of about 150 at the Carp Fair, Team Easton shut out the WC Electric by a score of 4-0. Dan Konkle threw a 3-hit shutout.  Kanata scored three in the top of the second.  Randy Peck singled, then John Peck hit a two run homer.  The next batter, Cory Morrison, hit a solo homer to put Easton up 3-0.  The only other scoring in the game occurred in the top of the fifth.  Todd Fraser led off with a triple to right field.  The next two batters were retired, but then Cory Morrison had an infield hit to the right side of the diamond to score Fraser, for his second RBI of the game.

 

Game three of the series will be Wednesday night in Stittsville at 8:00PM.
