Jul 27 vs. Kemptville Thunder

 

The WC Electric faced Mark Wright in this nine-inning contest and started off early with a run in the first.

Jon Daley led the game off with a triple and was brought in by a Trevor Barton sacrifice fly.

 

Bud Hanlon threw five innings of shut out ball.

 

Barry Storie entered the game and had control problems, walking several Thunder batters and allowing 5 runs in the six and seventh innings.

 

The WC Electric managed another run in the ninth, with Trevor Barton reaching on a bunt single, making it to third base on wild pitches, then scoring on a Shawn Rebertz sacrifice fly.

 

Final score 5-2 for Kemptville, who will be playing in the ISC II World Tournament Aug 10-15 in Wisconsin.
