West Carleton Electric used the long ball to defeat I4C Victory in Carp by a score of 2-1 on Monday night.

Michael Cavanagh hit a solo homer in the fourth and Steve Cavanagh hit a solo homer in the top of the seventh to provide all the runs for WC Electric.  Jason Armstrong had a pair of singles for Fitzroy.

I4C scored their run in the second when Greg McMillan reached base on a single, got to second on a wild pitch and then Duane Bromley drove in McMillan with a two out RBI single.

Brad Porter had the win in relief for the Electric, pitching two innings of no-hit ball. Bud Hanlon was strong over the first five innings, allowing only one run and four hits.
