Dan Bradley
pitched another gem, while John Craig and Dan Jessiman lead the way offensively
in a decisive victory over the Ottawa Blitz. The Blitz threatened in the first
when John Hayden walked followed by a Scott Dumouchel single, but failed to
push a run across. Stittsville scored two in the third when Craig walked, stole
second, and scored on Jessiman’s RBI double. Jessiman became the second run of
the ball game, scoring on an RBI single off the bat of Darren Featherstone.
Stittsville scored again in the fifth and sixth innings, the attack highlighted
by a Craig triple and a Jessiman home run.
