Graham leads Twins to win over NRTCO

MICKSBURG – Joran Graham struck out 10 batters and hit a three-RBI double in the first inning to help the Micksburg Twins to a 10-4 win over Beachburg NRTCO in Upper Ottawa Valley Men’s Fastball League playoff action Wednesday night.

Jamey Mick put the Twins in an early lead with an RBI single in the bottom of the first inning after Dwight Mick singled and Brad Steege drew a walk.

With two out, Graham cranked a double to put Micksburg up 4-0.

In the third inning, the Twins pushed three more runs across the plate with a two-RBI double by Wayne Ready and an RBI sacrifice single by Kevin Humphries.

In its half of the fourth inning, Beachburg got on the score sheet.

Dustin Gruntz hit an RBI single followed by an RBI double by Joey Costello and an RBI single by Jonathan Regier.

The Twins answered in the home half of the fourth as Steege ripped a two-run homer to right field.
