Simone Begrand Marchildon 24-4-53 à/to 12-7-2008

It is of great sadness that the family announces the sudden death of Simone Begrand, age 55 years, which occurred on Saturday, July 12, 2008 at St. Paul's Hospital in Saskatoon, SK. Simone lived her life one day at a time, but to the fullest way possible each day. She touched the hearts of many through work, church and play. She loved to spend time with her family and enjoyed teasing and joking with everyone. Her love of children made her role as a mother and a teacher assistant very rewarding. She marveled at their progress if only given a chance. She is survived by her husband Raymond; sons Jeremy (Roxanne) and Patrick Begrand of Saskatoon, SK.; daughter Elsa Begrand of Jasper, Alberta; parents, Martin and Louise Marchildon; sister, Estelle (Don) Lalonde; brothers, Bernard (Gloria) Marchildon, Andre (Corrine) Marchildon, Thomas (Colleen), Celestin (Athena) Marchildon and Rev. Fr. Yves Marchildon; sisters-in-law Leona (Jean) Begrand-Lambert and Linda Begrand. Simone was predeceased by her grandparents Simplice and Emma Bandet, Gilbert and Anna Marchildon; inlaws, Aubert and Marie Begrand; brother-in-law, Victor Begrand. The Vigil for Simone will be on Tuesday, July 15, 2008 at 7:30 P.M. and the Mass of Christian Burial will be on Wednesday, July 16, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. with Rev. Fr. Yves Marchildon. Both services will be at St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church - 3339 Centennial Drive in Saskatoon. Rite of Committal will take place at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in memory of Simone can be made to St. Patrick's Parish towards a new sound system.
