Napoléon 3-11-16 to 27-9-05

Napoléon Hounjet

Napoleon Hounjet passed away peacefully at Royal University Hospital on Tuesday, September 27, 2005 at the age of 88 years. Left to mourn is his cherished family: his wife of 59 years, Maria (nee Desjardins) Hounjet; and his children: Paul (Bernadette) and their children, Michelle (Adrien) Perrault, Marcel (Jennifer), Yvette (Ramil) Capulong, Lisa; Vivianne (Robert) Lesko and their children, Matthew, Jaclyn; Emile (Doris) and their children, Nicole (Gary) Ball, Denis, Lisette, Philip; Lillianne (Louis) Bayet and their children, Christopher, Candace (Ian) Cameron, Curtis; Cecile (Paul) Cochet and their children, Luc, Melissa; Irene (Greg) Cochet and their children, Mark, Scott, Elise; Bernadette Brown (Ray Reed) and their children, Danielle, Alison, Raymond; Lucille (Rick) Brown and their children, Melanie, Sara; Louise (Calvin) Schell and their children, Michael, Tanya; greatgrandchildren, Jean-Marie, Micheline, Anne, Emmanuel, Daniel, Caroline Perrault, Brandon, Nicholas Bayet, Solomon Capulong; sister, Eleanor Proulx; brother, Joseph (Alice) Hounjet; and numerous nieces, nephews and in-laws. Napoleon was predeceased by his son, Marcel; parents, Francois and Victorine (nee Bandet) Hounjet; sisters, Hubertine Grimard, Elise Janex, Maria Beauregard; brothers, Henri, Eugene; and numerous inlaws. Napoleon was born on November 3, 1916 at Esperance, SK. He loved his large family dearly. He farmed all his life, loved nature, loved working with his hands and was very handy working with wood and metal. There was nothing that he could not fix. We'll miss you Papa. Memorial donations may be made to the RUH Foundation in memory of Napoleon Hounjet. Vigil for Napoleon will be held on Thursday, September 29, 2005 at 7:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, September 30, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. Both services will be held at the Sts. Donatien and Rogatien Roman Catholic Church, Prud'homme, SK with Rev. Fr. Marc Mireau, Celebrant. Rite of Committal will follow in the Sts. Donatien and Rogatien Roman Catholic Cemetery, Prud'homme, SK. Arrangements entrusted to Kenneth J. Scheirich of Park Funeral Chapel (244-2103).
