Mr Louis Bandet, age 87, beloved husband
of Clemence Paquette-Bandet, of Debden, SK, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 22,
2009 with his wife and son, Raymond by his side. Prayer Service will be held at 7:00 p.m.,
Friday, February 27 from St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 260-25th Street East. Father
Matthew Nguyen will officiate. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Saturday,
February 28 from St. Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church in Debden by Father Milan Sajonas.
Louis will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his wife of 20 years of marriage,
Clemence (nee Houde); his children, Marie-Ange (Peter) Prebushewski, Constant (Joan),
Donald (Ann), Aline (Jerome) Lafreniere, Carmelle, Doril, Lorraine, Adrien, Raymond (Loretta),
Eveline (Robert) Nachtegaele, Denis (Lucy) and Jerome; 41 grandchildren, 69 greatgrandchildren;
his brothers, August (Rolande) and Paul (Blanche); his sisters, Louise (Martin) Marchildon,
Helene (Leon) Marchildon; numerous nieces, nephews and friends; his step-children, Louise
PaquetteRobert, Lynn (Luc) Boudreault, Claire (Darrell) Gunderson and Marc (Terry) Paquette;
ten step-grandchildren, five stepgreat-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his first wife of
45 years of marriage, AnneMarie (nee Bussiere); his sisters, Adrienne and Irene; and his
brothers, Pierre, Jean and Guy. Louis was born on September 12, 1921 in Prud'homme, SK. He
had a strong faith in God and had a deep love of family and community. We love you pepere!
Cremation will take place after the mass with interment of cremated remains at a later date.
