Irène Lepage(née Bandet)

LEPAGE -Irène Marie Lepage, née Bandet, deceased suddenly July 28, 2005 in St. Ann's Place in Saskatoon at 85 years of age. She will be greatly missed by her husband Alexandre, her children Marguerite (Brian Fisher), Jeanne d'arc (Émile Gaudet), Thérese (Arthur Denis), Lionel, Mariette, Seraphena, Michel (Dianne Jean), Vincent (Betty Rejman), Joel, Bernard (Diane Aubertin), Jacinte (Richard Lizee), Carmen (Darren Anderson), Sylvie (Gabriel Landry) and her many grandchildren and greatgrandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers Louis (Clemence Paquette), Jean (Shirley McAreley), Auguste (Rolande Parent), Paul (Blanche Denis) and her sisters Helene (Leon Marchildon), Louise (Martin Marchildon), her brother-in-law Albert (Florence Laliberte), sister-in-law Marie-Louise Bussiere along with numerous nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her parents Simplice Bandet and Emma Levèsque, her sons Simplice and Honore, her brothers Pierre and Guy, her sister Adrienne, her brother-inlaw Desire Bussiere, and her son-in-law Laurent Lizee. Irène and Alexandre farmed in St.Denis. Mom cherished life with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She had a passion for nature and brought beauty to the farm yard with planting many fir trees and various flowers. She loved to relate the fun times she had horseback riding and working with horses. She will be remembered for her loving, welcoming smile and twinkle in her eye. Her caring presence will be missed by her faithful husband of 63 years. Prayers will be held at St. Ann's Home Chapel in Saskatoon, Wednesday, August 3rd at 7:30 p.m. The funeral mass will be in St-Denis' Roman Catholic Church, Thursday, August 4th at 10:00 a.m. The family wishes to thank all care-givers who provided services to our dear Maman and wife in the last years of her life. Arrangements have been entrusted to Mervin G. Oleksyn, ACADIA DRIVE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 955-1600.
