Lepage, Alexandre
LEPAGE - Alexandre, passed away peacefully on Thursday,
May 25th, 2006. Married in 1942, Alexandre and Irene
(Bandet) farmed in the St. Denis District for over 50
years. Dad loved to work with his tractor and machinery.
Oh how he made us kids pick those never-ending rocks!
His accident in 2001 changed all his retirement dreams,
as he was never to walk again and be on the farm. He
moved to St. Ann's in Saskatoon in the summer of 2002.
His endurance of the tragedy taught us deeper love and
forgiveness. We shall miss you, papa! Epoux fidele
d'Irene Bandet et pere de 15 enfants (2 decedes), il a
du faire beaucoup de sacrifices pour sa famille. Papa
n'etait pas un homme complique , il aimait les choses
simples, mais les epreuves de la vie l'ont vraiment
marque. Toujours attache a la nature, papa a travaille
la terre et eleve du betail. Il avait le don de predire
la temperature d'apres la nature. Papa aimait beaucoup
special, papa! Alexandre is loved and remembered by his
children, Marguerite (Brian) Fisher; Jeanne d'Arc (Emile
Gaudet); Therese (Arthur Denis); Lionel; Mariette,
Seraphena Aswell; Michel (Dianne Jean); Vincent (Betty
Rejman); Joel; Bernard (Diane Aubertin); Jacinte
(Richard Lizee); Carmen (Darren Anderson); Sylvie
(Gabriel Landry); many grandchildren and
great-grandchildren; one sister; one brother; eight
in-laws and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Vigil
for Alexandre will be held on Sunday, May 28th at 8:00
p.m. and the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated
on Monday, May 29th at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Father Marc
Mireau as celebrant. Both services from St. Denis Roman
Catholic Church. Rite of Committal to follow at St.
Denis Parish Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial
donations may be made to St. Ann's Senior Citizens
Village (2910 Louise St. Saskatoon, SK S7J 3L8).
