Master's Message
October 2007
Brethren and Visitors,
Right glad am I that you have taken the time to investigate our small, yet humble web site. As one of the newer members of Arkona Lodge, I am quite happy to represent this lodge as their Worshipful Master. I look forward to a great year of fellowship and visitation with the Brethren of our Lodge, our District and all Masons, where so ever you hail from.
Arkona Lodge is part of Sarnia District of the Grand Lodge of A.F. & A.M. of Canada in the Province of Ontario. In April of 2000, we celebrated our 125th Anniversary in Arkona and, we look forward to our next major Anniversary with a lot of enthusiasm. Although we are considered one of the smaller lodges in our District, we take a great sense of pride in our work and take much pleasure in receiving guests and visiting. Our register consists of 39 members, many of whom are Past Masters. Those who are able are relentless in assisting with the activities our Lodge holds and all contribute in their respective communities with zeal and attachment. Recently, we have assisted the Canadian Blood Services with four Donor Clinics held in the Rock Glenn Resort, we participate in the local Canada Day parade as well as the Remembrance Day Ceremonies.
There is a lot to brag about in a small rural community, September through till June, we meet on the 1st Thursday of the month @ 8:00pm. If you're up for some warm and friendly conversation and you just happen to be in the area, please drop in, we would be happy to make your acquaintance.
Fraternally,
R. W. Bro. Thomas J. Keith
Master of Arkona No. 307
