-Increase thyroid hormone secretion

Symptoms:
-Increase metabolism
-Increased sympathetic nervous system, therfore, increased heart rate, breathing rate, blood pressure, etc.
-Exophthalmus (bulging eyes)

Treatment:

Radioactive iodine; surgery; medication
