Allopathy

‘The curing of a diseased action by the inducing of another of a different kind, yet not necessarily diseased.’ Syd. Soc. Lex. A term applied by homeopathists to the ordinary or traditional medical practice, and to a certain extent in common use to distinguish it from Homeopathy .
