MY HOBIE CAT 18 PAGE

I have been sailing since I was about 10. In that time I have sailed all manner of boat from wind surfers, small dinghies, cats to large keel boats.  I have however, never owned anything more then a wind surfer.  Every year in the spring I get the urge to sail.  I finally bit the bullet and bought myself a boat.  I wanted a boat that could hold a few people but also one that was fast and fun.  The Hobie 18 with its magnum wings seemed to fit that bill.  It has lived up to all my expectations and more.

Hobie 18 pick upHere I am beside the boat the day I picked it up in Toledo Ohio.  That was a long drive (1400 Km each way I think) but worth every bit of effort needed to get the boat home.
