It’s hard to write an “About Me” about me when it seems like my life is always changing. Sometimes I feel like I am trapped on Space Mountain, that rollercoaster in the dark, never knowing when the next dip or rise is coming, but being excited and enjoying the ride all the same.
I’m your atypical black girl who grew up in your typical Greater Toronto Area suburb. I fell in love with the spotlight after being cast as the Angel of the Lord in grade 2. I can’t seem to let it go so I participate in community theatre as much as I can. I started singing in church (like everybody and their mother right?) but I went through a phase where I wasn't holy enough for church choirs. Luckily I found my insanity fit right in in musical theatre. Being on stage is the scariest, gut wrenching, physically and mentally demanding, most funnest place in my world and I love it more than anything else.
