| In Grammar, we be looking at different parts of sentences. Students need to focus on spelling, mechanics, and grammar usage in their work. |
| Spelling lists are based on individualized levels. Students will have their own spelling list. Pretest will be taken on Monday. We will work on strategies throughout the week and take a posttest on Friday. |
| Our next unit for Writer's Workshop is Writing for Readers. The students will be creating a shape book using thier fruit or vegetable. The focus trait will be voice. |
| We will start our unit on landmark numbers. The students will be identifying and finding place value. They will be working in thier 1,000 book. Please make sure students are getting extra practice with multiplication and division at home. |
