The Zero Club Trip to the Pencil Museum, Cumbria. Weekend October 20, 21, 22

The Pencil Museum is one of Cumbria's finest tourist attractions. Marvel at how a pencil is made. Gaze in amazement at the UK's longest pencil (in the Guinness Book of Records).

We plan to take the train up from London on Friday evening, and come back on Sunday evening. The route is yet to be decided but we guarantee an afternoon of spotting on the way back home. We have found a lovely B&B in Kendall where we will spend the evenings.

Saturday morning will be spent visiting the Museum. In the afternoon Zero Club Members will have the choice of either staying at the Museum, or visiting the local railway. I understand it is a narrow gauge tourist line.

For more information please visit the Museum's website.
