Zombageddon will be a game that utilizes the Crytek 2 Engine. The purpose of the game is co-operation and survival in a hostile, zombie-ridden environment. Reasons for the zombies will be unknown at first but as players complete certain tasks (as well as real time patches) reasons for why zombies have appeared will start being revealed.

A main idea and goal for the game will be co-operation for survival, as stated before, but co-operation may work for or against you. The zombies will, at first, seem like the big threat but players will be given the option to play alone or to form a 'group' to either stay in a place and build up resources and defend their shelter from zombies and other players; or go out on the offensive to take resources and others' shelters. This brings in an interesting idea of PvP and PvE.

Resources will consist of the common ammo and weapons found in the area as well as food. Eating will have to be taken into consideration as you will have to eat to perform normal taks effectively. Not eating will effect speed, accuracy and carrying capacity which will push the player into wanting to eat to be more effective in the jobs they will perform. A class system is in consideration and more information will be released later on.

Many other ideas have been discussed but for right now everything is still in the brainstorming phase. We hope to have some concept art and more ideas later on in the near future.
