Ry Stevenson's PBeM Index | |
Welcome to my site index. The above links will take you to the myriad of games that I currently run online. On the advice of a friend, I've decided to compile all of these links into one site, ergo those who are involved in my settings or are interested in my sites will only have to bookmark this page, and not a whole bunch of them. But what is this site beyond that? Play By Email Campaigns (PBeM) and roleplaying have become, more or less, my sole output of roleplaying. I used to roleplaying quite heavily with a nice troupe of good friends, and those times were always great. As is the case with growing up, though, distance and time intervened with my hobby, and eventually, I had to seek an alternative means of entertaining my RPG bug. I don't remember how exactly I stumbled on the idea of play by email - I'm not convinced any but the newest of us would - but I do remember that first campaign. The USS Arcadia, a free form Star Trek campaign where I played the nerdy and clumsy science officer Tcecky Vigot. Since then, I've become a full fledged PBeM-a-holic (ask my wife), and I show no signs of slowing down. My campaigns aren't the most successful, aren't the greatest plots or the most intriguing of storylines. My writing isn't exactly perfect either. But what I seek to accomplish, I feel I do well at. Creating worlds where we, as roleplayers, can come together and share in the collective storytelling experience. I think we do well for ourselves. So peruse the links above, enjoy, and if you have any questions or comments, feel free to direct them to me at ryan.stevenson@sympatico.ca. I'd love to hear from you. Thank you, Ry Stevenson |
