I disagree with NBA two years in a roll

Last year I picked Jason Kidd to be the MVP. NBA chose Tim Duncan.  This year, Tim Duncan is again the NBA MVP. He is not my number one choice. Here are my top five:

1. Kevin Garnett
2. Kobe Bryant
3. Tim Duncan
4. Tracy Mcgrady
5. Dirk Nowitzki

I know Tim Duncan did a lot for Spurs. I know Spurs would be another Denver Nuggets without Tim. Obviously the press voters have been looking at how the player's role in a good team. Tim Duncan, the most important player for any team in the entire league. But I'm not convinced that Tim needed to do a lot to get himself to this stage. This put him on the level of Bill Russell, Chamberlain, Bird, Jordan and three more to be the only players ever to win MVP two years in a roll. I believe Timberwolves would have been even crappier without KG. KG is the true leader and contributor to his team. These press members probably see Spurs as a better team and give the award to Tim Duncan.
