I have seen Lord of the Rings: Two Towers yesterday. I think the first one is better. The first two hours of this one is just plain story telling. Only until approaching the last hour, some actions were presented. The reason I feel the story telling two hours boring is because (1) it's too long; (2) The funny things like moving trees are no surprise to me anymore. The only good entertaining this is the Gollum, a computer built virtual figure (above). Overall, this movie did not reach my expectation. The story telling part, I understand, is necessary to bring out the entire plot. However, it dragged down the speed and excitement of the whole movie. I gave 5 out of 5 to the first episode of the trilogy, well..., this time, 4 out of 5.
