our first stop: The Esplanade! Concert theatres, performing arts complex, performing arts library, it's all here at the Theatres on the Bay. it's a very spiky building which has earned the nickname of "the durians" (more details on that tomorrow or so) or "fly's eyes". you can see one of the two domes in this picture.
