RULES

Of all the newsfiles on this MUSH, this is -THE- most important of them all these guidelines are not put into place to restrict you, they are here to make your enjoyment of this MUSH that much better.

- CONSENSUAL RP -
Consensual RP is the cornerstone of this MUSH and is encouraged with great zeal. We ask that everyone respect that what happens to your character is within your control and that unless it is all right with you adverse things will not occur.
The diverse nature of the MUSH brings this into play. In this roleplaying world, there is practically no limits. Almost anything can, and most likely will, happen. With this great diversity we need to have these consensual RP rules in order to keep the peace and mantain a viable, non-twinking, environment. Remember, there is always a person behind the character that you are roleplaying with no matter how hidiously evil that character's IC personality may be. The primary rule to live by here is 'Always ask before you do' if the answer is no then don't do it, simple as that. And remember, this is a social environment and all of us want to be here. If we didn't want to be here we wouldn't have logged in to play here nor would the admin have created this place.

- CONSENSUAL DEATH -
Now, this is a biggy. The death of your character is completely up to you, he/she can be killed off in any manner of ways -BUT- it is preffered that you discuss this with the admin so we can help you make this as smothly as possible. No character can be killed without player consent or unless consentual death has been stripped from the character (which rarely, if ever, happens). We ask that deaths be limited and preference is that characters not be killed off but rather disappear into the shadows.

- COMBAT -
Combat on this MUSH is not mandatory nor is it the primary focus. This MUSH is based off of roleplaying and consensual RP. Combat follows the same rules that consensual RP does. We ask that you refrain from seeking out primarily combat RP and that combat plays as little of a role in your roleplaying as is possible. Also, we ask that you do not use your most powerful attack continuously as this type of action is within the MUSH's definition of a Twink. Combat is a common area where there is twinking occurs and we strive to see it as limited as is possible.
