A group of actors, writers and directors who create an anarchic and surreal style of humor. They were five english men - Graham Chapman, John Cleese, Eric Idle, Terry Jones and Michael Palin - and one american - Terry Gilliam - who joined themselves and did a comic program that wasn't based in punchlines, but in nonsense situations, the Monty Python Flying Circus. That was exibit at BBC 1 for three seasons - thirteen sunday shows for each season - and it gone from October 69 to January 73. After that, there were more six shows at BBC 2 from October to December 74 that was named only for Monty Python, without the Flying Circus because of the nonappearance of John Cleese. - "a great combination of intellect and silly" Robin Williams.

The name Monty Python has been chosen from a list and gained general approval. Flying Circus has been chosen by the direction of BBC inspired by the Red Baron's World War One Fighter Squadron. Later the pythons made some movies together like Monty Python and the Holy Grail (75), Life of Brian (79) and The Meaning of Life (83).

This is a page made by fans of these genious of the surrealistic and silly comedy. We want to stimulate the curiosity of new followers for the python-mania.
