Alot of jobs existed in Egypt, the pharaoh and the higher class citizens needed the service of arquitects, tax colectors, ingeniers, carpenters, artists, sculptors, priests, singers, dancers, bakers, teachers, accountants, musicians, embalmers and sandal makers. Ox, sheep, duck, geese and bee breeders and care takers were also very solicited. Other men served in the Army, Navy or worked in different type of working boats. These workers were paid mostly with lettuce, beets, beans, onions, grapes, watermelons, pickels, wheat, skin oils, fish, clothing, wine, meats, soap and wood.
