Freedom Fries, Bread you name it

I don't know if you have heard about this so I will tell you about it. In Washington, D.C. in all of the cafeteria's in the house they changed the word FRENCH to FREEDOM, so instead of FRENCH fries it would be FREEDOM fries, this is the same with FRENCH toast FRENCH bread you name it. Anything with the word FRENCH in it they are replacing with FREEDOM.

What do I think about this? (This is my own opinion, you must remember that)

I think that the idea is good, but I think that it is a waste of time to... change the word FRENCH to FREEDOM, I mean there are other ways of showing your patriotism. This is kind of like something I heard recently... I don't remember who but... they said "instead of changing FRENCH to FREEDOM you could not go and buy a stupid huge SUV that guzzles so much gas that we might not be able to get more gas... that would be patriotism to go and buy a fuel efficient car and put the middle east out of business"... but I can't remember exactly it went something like that. anyways that is not the point... the point is. Instead of doing things like changing FRENCH to FREEDOM... hit them were it hurts most and not waste your time on simple things like that. After you have hit them hard.... then you go and take them further down with little things like this... Until then... put this off until the future!

One more thing to add... is that the FRENCH even point this out that French fries actually come from Belgium... it is just the way the potatoes are cut. Again the idea is good... but it might make the U.S.A look even dumber.
